Lost elec; cable; and DSL about 11:00 Wednesday from the storm but thanks to my generator and supplies stockpile we were OK.
Gasoline for the generator was hard to find mostly because stores had no electricty.
Elec and cable came back on about 23:00 Friday and DSL just came back this evening.

Many tree branches broken off and rivers are high flooding some roads from rain runoff and no place to drain because the wind pushed gulf water in the rivers.

Lots of people south of me have it much worse.
For a Cat 1 this was one heck of a storm.

I am just south of I-12 so I am north of I-10 but only because it curves south to go threw New Orleans.

The way this storm came in; west of New Orleans we got all the lake water pushed on our levee less shore where as Katrina came in on the east side and pushed the lake water on the New Orleans shore.
I am 23 ft above sea level and no flooding.

Glad to hear you are OK, I was worried about Yall. My Nieces and their families in Slidell all made it through fine as well. I am sure there must be plenty of cleanup to do.
Ron

Thanks Ron
Glad to hear your Nieces are OK.

Lots of rivers well over flood stage from 15 to 20 inches of rain in some places. Lots of back roads on the north shore still closed where they cross rivers.
Slidell had some flooding. Madisionville had water to the price area on gas pumps.
I-55 was closed for a few days and I-10 in Laplace may still be closed.

Electricty has been the big issue. Every area in red does not have electricty as of 1330 today.
