I thought of you yesterday. Had to go up to Carson City, then back south through Fowler (the back way) to Eagle. We saw some real nice farms and real clean farmsteads. Drove right down Main street from north of town across M21 past the High school and kept going south. It was a real nice ride.Its a real clean pretty area.

You passed within a mile and a half of the old homestead. If you'da taken a left on Walker road just North of Fowler, you'dve gone right by it.
I'm retiring in November, wife and I are thinking road trip to Michigan next Spring/Summer.

If it works out that you can come thru in late August, maybe you can meet some of us at the Oakley show. It's held by the Mid Michigan Old Gas Tractor Association. I met a bunch of the guys there this year. This year it was Aug 17 thru 19, I don't know what the exact dates are, but I think it is the 3rd weekend in August. It was fun to meet the guys.
