Here in the southwest Kansas City area, started to rain about 10:30 AM on Friday, and still raining this morning. 4.5 inches in gauge. I don"t think it stopped raining all night.
Wonderful Rain! Slow-steady-no run off.
Currently 7:45 AM.

2.30" of very welcome rain 100 miles south of Kansas City and its still coming down...Its so dry that none of it is even reaching the creeks and rivers..

Looks like an area between Kansas City,KS and Ottawa,KS has had as much as 8-10" of rain..

Looks like the boat drags at Wheatland,MO are rained out..

Emptied my gauge at 4.4. Could not ask for a better rain. Replanted some food plotsbefore last rain. 7/10 lasat week. Planted g beans an cukes Thurs. Know its late but loose nothing but time if it freezes early.
Central Cass county, Mo.

Just checked my rain gauge a few minutes ago. Total of 2 inches here at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. We need more but 2 inches sure is better then what we have been getting over the last month or 2

I'm 4 miles northeast of Ottawa. Dumped two and twenty hundredths out of the gauge this morning. This is the first rain of substance since mid May here in Franklin county.

Still cloudy but no longer raining. It's too muddy to be on the tractor so I am working on welding projects. I haven't used the word muddy in months!

One thing I noticed about this hurricane is that the rain is banded and once in the band, the thing just rotates around you keeping you in it for quite a while. So it's a feast of famine thing looks like. In it, too much, like 7-10"; out of it, a sprinkle.

Sure glad you folks are getting wet. We didn't get anything but some cooling winds here in N. TX. but we have had a good year so I can't complain.
