Got 1" so far. West central Mo. Could do nothing but watch. Replanted food plots before last .7 rain a week ago. Thank you Lord!

Amen to that, been raining steadily here since noon. Too late for for the garden and hay but this is a lifesafer for the pasutres, ponds and fruit trees!

Have close to 2 inches here so far and still falling. As for the garden well it is still going just fine but this will give it a kick in the back sides so maybe even better in a week or 2. As for hay maybe just maybe if it keep it up and does not get to cold to fast a all be it small growth of hay but maybe another cutting of hay which would be very good. Have people asking for hay a lot and have none to let go of

Trying to hay up here in September is always touch and go because we are usaully cool enogh that it's tough getting it to dry before the next rain. I am happy with just getting the pastures green and some growth for the cattle to feed on.

Yep understand that but I have done hay as late as Oct here where I am not as good as the spring/summer stuff but then with a year like this if I could get 15-20 more round bales from my fields that sure would help my back pocket. Got all of 30 bales from fields that most years produce 50 plus and that is the first cutting then another 25 plus for 2nd cutting. Nice to give up baling because the hay barn is full but that has not been the case in 2 years now

I am surely happy to see some folks getting rain that really need it. Of course it seems that some folks in LA. got just a little too much. Now they are saying the system is gonna head east, and NC and other eastern states are gonna get some of it too. I'd just as soon it would head the other way, I think the people in the west need it more than we do right now.
