Wait! Carrrots? Celery? That ain't meatloaf.......that's veggie loaf! Looks good though. Didn't know you can cook a meatloaf on a grill.

For a pretty easy and great tasting meat loaf use 1 1/2# ground meat, 1 box of any stove top stuffing of your choice ( we like the savory flavor best), 2 eggs, one cup milk, chopped onion, a shot of worchestershire sauce, mix it all up and bake. First time we tried it I was a bit skeptical using the stuffing mix, it was great. funtwohunt

Tony,

Looks REALLY good!

Never tried meatloaf on the grill. So do you cover it for awhile or cook it uncovered the entire time? May have to give it a try.

We've got a recipe for "meat patties" which uses oatmeal instead of bread crumbs along with onion, egg, milk, parsley, dry mustard, black pepper. I use a combo of bison and beef. Made a batch for the wife as I am camping this weekend so needed to make food ahead -- she cleans, I cook. Was never a big fan of meatloaf, but found the recipe in the REC magazine and we love it. Plus it's lower in carbs (I am diabetic) and you just form into individual patties and grill (I use the Pam grilling spray and they don't stick much at all). Put a slice of cheese on em just before they come off the grill. Mmmmmm.

Now I am sure you tracked that animal with your tractor on your place. If you want to make that loaf even better try wrapping it with bacon and smoking it on the weber. MMMMMMMMM.......
