wayne in mn 08-29-2012 14:53:44 66.188.166.241 Report to Moderator	Re: farmall m stuck in gear in reply to anthony dixon, 08-29-2012 14:41:04   Drive the shift lever swivel pin out, lift the shift lever up & out, use a long bar to line up all 3 shift rails, replace the shift lever & pin. There are small metal plugs at each end of the shift lever swivel pin (IH part # 172529). I have seen the pin replaced by a longer bolt with a nut securing it in place. [Reply]  [No Email]

I bought a sloppy shifter repair kit on ebay recently for my 300 and it has made a world of difference. $20 very well spent. Zach [Reply]  [No Email]
