I repair all of my Delco and most ford starters but how are gear reduction Mitsubishi starters repaired? The positive brush leads appear to be spot welded to the field windings. Is there a recommended field replacement method? Maybe drill a hole in the field winding and use a small bolt to secure the brush lead?
