Who needs rain

We might have just a little to share.

I hope FEMA is ready because we have many that think it is FEMA's job to protect them from this.

We could use some of that rain up here. As far as wind goes we usually have enough of that. Be careful. My son has to ride it out in Ms but he is sending his wife and kids to Kentucky to her brothers place.

If you can get a few remnants up here by Saturday or Sunday,I'll take it. Probably will need it by then. The rain we were supposed to get yesterday and last night fizzled to a light sprinkle.

I enjoy Bob B's reply to this, but will try to stay out of the politics. :)

Sure could use some rain, supposed to go into the mid and even upper 90's this week, and the beans were rolling leaves when it was 75-80 outside already. Had a whopping .2 inch of rain over the weekend, that helped the crop for 3 hours or so....

Think with the heat coming up, our crop is done in my part of MN, whatever crop is out there is what we get, won't be growing/filling any more. Hills are already burnt down, was hoping the low spots would fill in a tad more on the corn & beans and trhe pastures would start up again if we got 2/4 inch or more rain, but it avoided us again.

Who the heck is steering this one anyway? You'd think they'd take it as far from Norlens as they could get it.

I"ll take all you can send.got nearly a inch two days ago and i dont think it settled the dust for over an hour.was about 16-17 " lower than normal . when you only get 25 in an average year, its definitly dry.bring it on,all the ponds can stand it in these parts.

1/2 inch over the weekend - send nore SOON! I am having mudjackers out here estimating foundation repair. One guy said they are digging 8-9 feet down before they see any moisture.

Guys, Looks like again anywhere and everywhere else but Texas! Won't get any again!
Later,

No measurable rain since mid may. We are past the poInt of being toast. Cistern was dug in 1936 and has never been dry. Just measured it and only have 6 feet of water left.

What part of Kansas are you located, we had .15 hundredths the other night, just enough to settle some of the dust here for a few hours.
