Just purchased a 750 and 760 massey combine, drove the 750 home first about 20 miles and the ol thing purred like a kitten

Wow, that thing is in nice shape. You wash the dust off and it would look like a new one. I have a 750 gray cab which was built after the serial # break. In spite of what you hear about them, they really are good machines. Of course that Perkins is there strong point. Bullet proof.

give them girls some pumice stone paste and turtle wax and you'll have a new one... Guess you'll have a shed built for it in a few days huh????

When I was a kid my dad had a 760 and he traded it off for a new tr85. I rode many a round behind the seat on the ledge. Made me feel like a big boy when he'd let me reach up and get to throttle it up.

One of the Hutterite colonies around here said that
the 750/760's were about the best combine ever built
and were looking for good used ones. The 6 cylinder
Perkins are a better option than the V-8 versions as
far as the engine though.
