I have a IH 140 that had a hole in the manifold. I fixed it and now it is smoking out of the exhaust pipe. It didn"t before I fix the hole. Does anyone have an Idea what it could be? If I adjust the carb would that maybe fix it? I it might of changed the air to fuel ratio, but I hate to adjust the carb until I got some advice.

What did you fix it with,a patch of some kind or a new manifold? Probably just something burning off the inside either way.

If the hole was in the intake, it needs to be adjusted to lean the mixture. If it was the exhaust, It could be heating an area that had oily deposits in it. But unlikely. If it was welded, a bead of weld might have got into a cylinder and smashed the ringlands, or holed one of the pistons. Jim
