A coupla months ago, our daughter started a new job with a real estate title company in McLean, VA, just outside of DC. It was a significant step up for her.
However, since she lives in the District, she lost the option of riding the Metro to work. After commuting to her new job for a month or so, she finally decided her faithful '96 Saturn was getting a bit long in the tooth for what was required of it.
This is a 2013 Hyundai Veloster. The only import I've ever owned was a Fiat Spyder roadster back in the 1970's, but I've heard good things about Hyundai. She leased this one for 36 months, instead of buying, but in her case it makes sense.
A lot of little extras came with this. Besides bells and whistles she hasn't figured out yet, she has free car washes for the life of the lease, etc.
Guess we'll have to plan a trip to DC so she can take us for a ride in it.
