I have a horsey question

No, I did not bet on a cow in the Kentucky Derby, but, just as dumb- a photo finish tie, 'dead heat' at Saratoga. Now, if there are 2 winners, with different odds, who gets how much? Whatever the odds were on the one you put money on? And the third horse is now second? with a payout for 2nd place? No cheering crowds. Looked like a lot of confused people there.

The two winners pay as if they had won. It was a dead heat so each is the winner. They both get marked in the score book as winning. They would pay their normal amount to win; place or show just as if they were the only winner.

The third horse is still third and not moved up to second so he pays as he would for being third. He only pays to show.
