Bundle of trouble

We had to put down our old yellow lab a few weeks back. Picked this little fellar up this afternoon, figured he would be the right size to ride in the cab and maybe we can make a stock dog out of him. The wife named him Tin in honor of the man we got him from, Tenbrink.

Ha!!! A blue Wrigley...... Enjoy and make him a part of everything ASAP. Doen't let that cute face get in the way of correcting him...

Keep up the pics....

But that's a Luther if I ever saw one.....

Cute as a button. I'm sure he has a good home now. Looks like an angel but there's a little look of the devil in the way he cocks his head. Are you missing any boots or gloves yet? Jim

You won't be disappointed. I've had a couple Australian Cattle Dogs and they were absolutely the smartest, most loyal dogs I have ever been around. He's a handsome boy too, I love his mask and coloring.

Looks like the dog We had when our daughter was little. 1/2 Australian Blue Heeler and 1/2 Jack Russell we called him Two Face. He had two tricks,1 every morning I would let him in the house and tell him to go wake up Melodye and would run and jump up on her bed and lick her in the face till she got up,2 he bit every body that came in the backyard.

I went from a black lab to a bundle of trouble (La Catahoula) a few years back. A few months into the ordeal I thought it was the worst mistake I had ever made. Turned out to be a very good dog.
Give him so exersize and work him or your house will pay for it as he eats it apart trying to burn off energy.

Oh yeah,
He'll give you some trouble.
Looking at the pic there I'm surprised he hasn't already chewed the valve stem off of that tire cause it aint flat. Yet...
One thing I learned the hard way was to leave all your extension cords, skill saw, drills, etc plugged IN.
Good looking pup.

Good looking pup. Take him everywhere you can whenever you can. Socialization is a big part of their learning. It builds confidence, exposes them to new things, and makes for a friendly companion.

Gene;

Nice looking beagle too. Just came in from running my three pups, 18 weeks on Monday. Two are doing really well and the female needs alittle solo work and sight chases. She yips track but loses it quickly.

We have a healer/sheppard mix and a sheppard/ boarder collie mix. Both great dogs. It's great fun to watch them herd the grandkids. The kids don't even know it, but we sit on the deck and watch the dogs move them around the yard. They also keep the kids in the yard. It's amazing to watch.

"They hate cats!!! Good looking fella though."

It might be the temperment of the particular blue heeler, or training, but we had a little male that loved cats.
He adopted our gaggle of farm cats. He would groom them ( lips rolled back and those qhort chewing motions with the front teeth. The cats loved it, kind of sloppy, but almost like being petted.
He would herd his gaggle of cats away from anything he thought might harm them, and if necessary would defend them, standing between them and any precieved danger with a mouth full of snarling teeth. They all ate from the same dish.
You could see in his manner, those were "his" cats and nothing better mess with them. LOL.

Awwww, he's adorable!

We once had a blue heeler/german shepherd mix. Best dog ever. We never even trained him, but if live stock got out - he would keep them standing in one spot. (Course he also did the same thing with the meter reading man too... LOL)

I have an old milk crate on the 4 wheeler now, I was just drummin up ideas to put a bigger box on there for him, that looks like a good one.

It may be too late already, but if you could teach him to sit straight up instead of on one side, it will be better for his hips. Great looking pup.
