Watched the parade, thought it was pretty cool to see all the tractors but wold have rather been there in person. Finances and a broken foot put a stop to that dream.

Yes they had 1,139 tractors in the parade.

About that world record--- I am watching RFD TV, and they just said that it set a new Guiness record for the most tractors in a parade!

I have always been told you need to plan the route and then inform your local law enforcment and go from there.

They offically recorded 965 tractors, enough for a new record. It was really something to see. If I could get my Photobucket account to let me upload pictures I would share some of them.

Oh yeah, when I came by the last round one of the RFD officials was waving the plaque in the air. We all shouted and applauded! Max came by, shook my hand and thanked me for coming. I'm not sure he remembered me but it was nice to see him again. And I did shake hands with the Guinness Rep, i think his name was Mike, from NY. I wanted to welcome him to Nebraska where it only rains when we have company. Yes, after 6 months of drought it rained all morning.
