We have been lucky here in Carroll County Md. I looked at the corn fields today and the corn is over 12 feet high and green. We have had storms about 2 times a week all summer. Have to mow the lawn twice some weeks and I have 3 acres#@#

Have you heard of the great American desert. Well just come on out here, its back. Corn being made for silage, beans for hay, ponds are dry and pastures are brown.

Even here in our "lush irrigated valley"things are tough. Our irrigation supplys are only running at 70%.Some of the higher mountain ranches ran out of water in June.Lasts years snowpack was less than 50%.we will drain all of our reservoirs this summer. We will need 300% snow fall just to get back to 'normal'
