R&R injector pump on a 4000 Ford.Got it running and tested out. Owners wife told me to stop by the house. For my money. Got my pay. Plus a box of squash, cherry tomatoes, egg plant and a watermelon.Plus a jar of blackberry jam.

Sure is nice working for farmers.

I sure think so. Ever since I moved back to the country. I have a hard time buying vegatables from the store. Taste better straight out of the garden.Had some home made butter a few months ago. With some home made yeast rolls. I was in heaven that night.

I have taken payment in the forms of pies, cakes, and cookies over the years, and have never been disappointed. Some of the food that comes out of old farm house kitchens is second to nothing else out there.

One of the best deals that I ever made was doing some handy man work for a handicapped lady that was a stained glass artist.

When she asked how much she owed me, I told her that I'd rather have a piece of her artwork in exchange. She was very proud that I wanted some of her art; I came out on the long end of that deal.

When I was a young lad, I use to put in hay seems like everyday for a different farmer and when he called and ask if I could help, I requested a home cooked supper instead of being paid with money if they could, boy there is nothing better than a great meal after being in a field all day.
