OT my work

If any of you travel through the Minneapolis airport look at the displays about the trams and listen to the voices on the trams. Replacing that equipment was one of our projects.

I am up here cleaning up some details.

I do about twice/year. Pretty nice airport. I like the Indianapolis airport above most. and Denver least. Seatac is real good. Jim

Just there last week and rode the tram. Was my first time to fly too.

That's what I like about my job working on equipment. I can ride by a machine that's running or a big project somewhere and know that I had a part in the whole thing, even if it was just a small part in the grand scheme of things. Right now there are conveyors hanging over peoples heads at the airport in Charlotte that I either my crew hung, or I helped another crew hang, a few years back. There's nothing like job satisfaction.

Whenever I see ADOT equipment on the highways, I recognize most of it as equipment that I bought while I worked there. I bought good equipment that is lasting twice as long in the fleet than the equipment that was purchased before I came to ADOT.

Doing demolition mine is different. I drive by a job and there is nothing there when there use to be something and I think I did that..
