RRLund, I AM feeding it to the cattle. With all the talk about the nitrogen fixed in the lower part of the corn shocks, I am feeding some shocks and lots of weed. They eat it all up. I figured they should, the weeds came from their manure.

no thanks we have it's first cousin PALMER ARARMTH,it will given a short time it builds up resistance to most any chemical,drought,drown,disc harrow, probably soon freeze proof,we've tried our best not to let it get started and seed out in our fields just don't know how much longer we will be able to stay ahead of it

I've had to go back to walking some of the beans to pull a few weeds. Haven't done that for quite some time. Trouble is, by now the seeds are on the ground already. Jim
