2003 Chevy 2500HD

My remote button door lock quit working. I checked the fuses and didnt see any that controled this. And they all seemed to be good. Any ideas on why? Thanks in advance

I would bet the fob is bad or has a dead battery. The truck's system usually don't give any issues.

Battery in FOB ? some parts stores have reciecer you can point at and try FOB . Seen bunch of them lately where the battery holder came loose . Or may need reprogramed

I've got the same issue on my '06 2500HD. One of the FOBs just quit. New batteries, but it didn't help. The other FOB (the one we never use) works fine.

IF that fob turns out to be good,i found that there is a couple relays in the door fuse panel that i had go bad on my '03.One for lock and one for unlock if i remeber correctly.

I put a new battery in it and also tryed the extra FOB, neither worked. I will check the door fuse panel again

also the horn button doesnt work on either FOB

Both fobs quit working the same day on my 2003. The fobs transmit but the truck is either not recieving or not recognizing the code.
