The trusses for the sawmill shed showed up this morning. Im thinking it wont be long before I start to drill some holes for the structure. The first stage of the building will be 40x40 with a 16 foot ceiling. Im hoping to get the first stage done before winter

SWMBO takes the cheap flight and goes to London now and then... Went with her once and had a good time. Saw a fish n' chip place and they looked so good..... Boy was I disappointed..For looking so good, they were the nastiest/greasiest things I ever got ahold of..... And folks were standing in line and diving into them..... I could sure picture that same crowd goin nuts over pissfilters too

I could use him for a weekend or two myself and he's a liiiiittle closer to me than you...

Lyle,

I work myself into the ground every day. I couldn't do any more than I do if there were two of me.

But I swear, between you and Allan in NE, I feel like a lazy piker. You two guys are like the Everready bunny!

Seriously, I admire the ability and tenacity of both of you guys.

I don,t know which way you are going to use the truss but keep the area where the LOGS go on the mill as open as you can. I can saw 22 ft long logs but have to be carefull getting in the shed.
Sixteen ft is about right on the height. I had to go back and use some ground anchors and cabel, high winds do strange things to big open roofs. Good luck and keep us posted.

"high winds do strange things to big open roofs"

Same lift as an airplane wing.

Good luck with the project Lyle.
