Got to the job site yesterday morning thieves had cut the lock stole batteries out of most of the equipment It wasn't good enough just take them they cut the battery cables at the starter and ripped the wires out. They got the welding leads off the welder, some truck rims, even got a track sprocket that we got back from the last time we were robbed(long story). Call Police while i'm talking to them BIL calls he has lost job needs work and help. After that get another call Uncle is in hospital has had massive heart attack not expected to live the family will meet today and decide what to do. Hope today will be better.

RBnSC,
Sorry about your uncle - that is a tough thing for the whole family.

Hope BIL will be able to find a job and can deal with the stress in the meantime.

Geez, what is with all the theivin' losers in the world? It is just disgusting what people choose to do rather than work an honest job!!

Dam drug crazed low life slime.

And just the other day you had posted you had gotten more work too!

Sorry to hear about the BIL and the Uncle.

Get at it and fix it all up.

Suggest you invest in some German Shepards.
Good loyal dogs with a mean streak for low lifes.

Sorry to hear about your uncle, things like that are always tough on the family.

A buddy of mine went into work Monday morning and found they had broken the windows and gotten into his work truck, and another. They had taken the radios, GPS units, and anything else of value. Said they had tried popping the locks on two others, but weren't succesful at getting in. Why they didn't just bust the windows like the others I don't know unless they wanted the whole trucks as they were 2011 and 2012 models.

Man, when it rains it pours. Things have to get better.

I need to buy a few more infrared game cameras myself.

I have my shop hard wired with color, motion sensor cameras.

Keep one hidden down at my hunting cabin.

Hope it will be too, a good friend got hit last week, right outside his front door, 2k in tools, all his out of his company work van, company will not reimburse, thieves get away and he gets the bill to replace whats lost, only consolation is that his renters insurance may kick in, have not heard anything as of yet.

These kind of people for whatever reason just have to exist everywhere you go, bad economy just makes it worse, even then, does not make it right, they are truly the bottom of the barrel and should be treated as such !

Son-In-Law was moving his car trailer around Monday evening. Unhooked his truck and forgot to take his keys out. At 11:00 pm, they saw headlights flash across their living room. Someone was driving off with his truck. Tailgate was down and it was full of car parts (or junk) and it was easy to follow for over a mile as the stuff kept falling out. The driver must be a race car driver because he did a 4 wheel slide on most curves and corners, without flipping it. Tracks were easy to follow for about 10 miles. Late next day, police found his truck. They had decided to run around in several corn fields and destroy what crop the farmers had. Several acres destroyed for a joy ride.

I'm a trustee at our local Elks. We've had a thief stealing our used french fry oil from a storage tank. We figured out if it continued we'd lose about $2500 per year, but the county prosecuting attorney won't pursue it--not enough loss involved. Hopefully the new one taking office next year will see things differently. He went to school with my kids and I'm bettin' he will.
