What happened to my Crystalux tubes

Orders some a week ago and the dealer said he was out. Its in short supply right now. Come in a week later and there is 3 inches less product in them, then what there use to be. What would be the reason if they sell them by the pound. Going to put them on the scales and weigh them.

Yeah, I noticed that. I wondered what kind of "tubes" you were feeding. Weigh the tub. Yes, they are sold by weight. And they are made with the cheapest ingredients they can buy. A change in ingredients could result in a change in volume.

NEKS,

I buy 12% cattle feed from my local co-op. I buy it a ton at a time, but I buy it in 50 lb. bags. The co-op keeps track of the number of bags that I have on credit, and I retrieve them from the co-op, 6 at a time, every three or four days.

Anyway, I dump the bags into two 5 gallon buckets when I feed the cows in the morning. For years, one bag would fill the two buckets and have a little bit left over. About 6 months ago, the co-op must have changed their recipe for the feed. One bag now doesn't quite fill the two buckets. It's still 50 lbs., but the volume is a little bit less than it used to be.
