was down near Branson Mo on Sunday. Lots of old cars and trucks but I did not see any old tractors on the road. Ate at Lamberts, home of the throwed rolls.

is the throwed roll something to do with the baking or do they throw them at you when you want one. Bill

A rubber biscuit is the kind of a biscuit that's supposed to bounce back off of the wall and into your mouth. If it don't bounce back you go hungry.

Yesterday at the local threshing show a fella sitting beside me eating dinner choked and throwed up. My pork loin sandwich didn't taste as good after that. Jim

WOW ...Those two trucks bring back memories. In 1970 at age 19 I came close to buying a new chevy p.u.almost like that one, deep red /two tone white,3 speed, not quite as trimmed, for $3,600 but backed out as I did not have enough $$$$$Woulld have been a great chick magnet. But I bought a used black 1959 chevy just loike pictured, for $ 500.Plain jane, not even a heater. It wa an old farmers truck.I drove it to college and in summers to haul my vegetables to the market. When I went to settle up the deal my father said "Get what you want, ande I will get you a check".To late I was already committed on the 59.My father would have bought me the new one.I still regret my mistake.Forty two years ago $3600 was a lot of money to a college student/part time vegetabble farmer. Can anybody guess what that truck would cost today? I guess $28000

Oh, golly! I had a red 64 Impala like that black one. 250hp 327 with three on the tree. That sucker would run! Like a dang fool I let my wife talk me into selling it when I got married 'cause it didn't have power steering and automatic.

Lamberts is pretty good.
They give you lots of food,There chicken and dumplings are awesome if you leave hungry its your fault. The roll throwers make eating there a fun experience.Been there several times.
