Going on Short Vacation to Myrtle Beach

We only have a few days and wanted to go some where cooler but don't have time and money for gas, MB is only 2 hours away and as long as the air condition works and the phone doesn't I'll be satisfied. Kids can go to the beach, I can spend some time telling stories on the forum.

The wife and I took off last Friday and Saturday and drove 500 miles on the 127 Yard Sale. We quit early Friday,got a room at a Comfort Inn with a pool and a hot tub. Went to a good resturant for supper,just got away and forgot the rest of the world existed. Couldn't heve been any more relaxing if we'd have been gone for a week. Great to get away.

Kinda like those car commercials where the 20 something kids are at home feeling sorry for their parents because they don't have many facebook friends or have gone to bed early. While they're sitting home thinking the folks are sleeping,they're really out whooping it up and having a good time with friends in their new car.

The US12 garage sale this weekend from Ypsilanti,MI to the western end of 12 in Michigan. Many towns are planning citywide garage sales.
