A little cloudy today but not a lick of rain like they predicted.
Was a bit humid late afternoon. Sweaty.
Evenings are rather cool for this time of year but I am glad to see it.
Windows are all open now.

Man, I wish I could send you some of ours! We had four inches Monday night, four-tenths last night and it is raining right now. I am not a selfish person, I would be glad to share. Tomorrow, they say a front will move through bringing chances of severe weather. Geeze, I need to mow my yard! I don't like to mow it wet, much less in the rain.

That would be fun.
I've thought of that before - pack up the camper, hit the road and visit some of you guys around the country. A day here, a couple of days there, maybe just a cup of coffee or dinner at a truck stop near by.
Meet some of the folks, and tractors, that make this such a great board.

Or I guess what you meant was that it didn't need mowing for that long. After we got some rain it was almost two weeks before I was able to mow mine. I have a 3x4ft. trailer with 18" sideboards that I pull behind my mower. I hauled two loads of clippings off the yard and I ain't done yet! When I mow I start on the outside with the discharge throwing the clippings toward the center. This windrows them and I don't have to rake the entire yard.
