OT Old Match Book Cover

I was going through some old Match book Covers and found this. Is this part of the racing family? Is it still in Buisness?

I did some research and found how someone got a World War Bonus in 1936. WWI vets had been promised a bonus – starting in 1945. The Depression led many to ask if they could have the money now, if you don’t mind, and eventually bills were passed to give them the money.

FDR vetoed the bill, but his decision was overridden.

So Mr Petty took his $750 and built Petty Machine Co? That's a pretty good success story! I wonder how many did something useful with their 2009 stimulus check? Mine went into my business.

I used to work around Gastonia alot and remebered seeing the name somewhere so I Googled it. I'm guessing that since the name is the same and they were incorporated in 1936, that they are at a new address but still in business making packaging machinery.

They are still in business. Drive past it everyday on the way to and from work.
