Does someone make one that you can get parts for, or is it more cost effective for occasional use just to buy a cheap "throw away" one? See a bunch of the old brass (??) tanked ones in ebay, anyone know if you can get parts (nozzles, seals, etc) for them?

Thanks...

I got a solo that I bought at our local Lowes about 15 years ago. Only problem I have had is the nozzle(brass) split and now the handle valve is slow to cut off.

I had a 1-gallon sprayer blow the hose out of the top of the tank and douse me with RU earlier in the week. Luckily, I had my glasses on. I guess I pumped it up too much. Went to school on that one!!

Husband has a 2 gallon sprayer from Fleet Farm that works well... cannot remember brand. I know he prefers ones with brass nozzles - better control than plastic.

At a garage sale, I bought a little handcart used for golf clubs... so he bungee straps the sprayer to that cart for me when I do any spraying (we have a large gravel area and it gets heavy after you carry it for an hour). Husband also lengthened the hose to about 3 ft. So roll it, park it, spray an area... then repeat. *He also threads in/glues a metal bleeder valve into the jug to release pressure when done spraying.

These worked pretty good though some say they were unreliable.

I've got one from Tractor Supply. Hold 4 gals. Been using it for over a year and no problems. Don't know about parts.
