Our 165 has been running a little ruff lately. Got a pertronix kit on its way from this sight as it seems every year we're putting in new points, cap, plugs, etc. I've had a pertronix kit in my 1600 for a while now and its been great. Gonna upgrade the 165 now.

| Wrap a piece of stovepipe around the muffler and cinch it tight with plumbers hanging strap and it will last another 100 thousand. |

| Can you still hear me eh?LOL. The muffler on my 630 Deere is oval in two directions because of a bad condenser. Jim |

| Other than a few flames and the fumes, shouldn't hurt much! LOL
Had a Case 930 that blew the whole round canister loose because it had a burnt exhaust valve.
Looked like a torch running across the field.
Didn't need headlights for anyone to see me, and I couldn't see past it even with the headlights on! |

| Had a Pertronix in my JD A for 4 years--no problems, lots less plug fouling and idles smoother. This is a working tractor with a loader and woodsplitter on it. Original kero pistons but never gets worked hard, so I'm happpy with it. |
