Sarpy County Nebraska Fair

Today was the last day for Sarpy County Fair. Went for the tractor pull, almost all the displays had left already! One of the local tractor clubs had a nice display of antiques-they were doing the pull as well! This old girl caught my eye!

Back in the 60s I worked summers for a neighbor cattle feeder. We used a MD to scrape the feedlot. Then spread chopped corn stalks and cobs in the loafing sheds. Paint was faded about the same. Thanks for the memories.

I still have my Dad's 1951 MD, and it had the same loader, but the loader went to the iron sale.

thanks for the pictures. that family has some history to be proud of.
in the early 50s, when i was young, the neighboring farmers had an M and a MD. not many diesels around then either.
