Has anyone tried this? the coyotes and bobcats have cleaned me out of cats and I seen this on utube and can't check it out. I called several and they tried it and said it works just like in the video.

I grab cats by the neck all the time. Unless the cat is nuts and wild, it nearly paralyses them. So the clip makes purrfect (Ha) sense to me.

Yup, just an instinct for them, grab them by the neck and they (mostly) calm down and don't fight too hard.

I bet it loses some efectiveness over time tho as just a clip?

For those not looking at the video, an active cat at the vet, they put a giant paper clip dealie on the back of it's neck like a momma cat carrying it and it calms right down.
