Just got 2 1/2 inches of rain here!!!!

We just got a real good rain. 2 1/2 inches. It came down pretty good for a thunder storm. My drive way washed the gravel some but that is OK. This should really put my crops close to having enough water to finish.

Location West of Dubuque Iowa

Thats good to hear, at least you may have some peace of mind for those crops, hopefully it saturated enough to soak, instead of running off.

Lucky lucky, Here in northern Cherokee county, NE of Sioux City I got .8". Won"t complain, it was a nice rain, just not near enough.

that's good news. I think we got a dozen drops of rain here today. I drove I-70 from KC to Columbia yesterday and I saw a whole lotta corn being chopped.

We got about .4, 60 miles east of you. I always wondered which direction you live from Dubuque. We used to live 30 miles east of there, spent a lot of time there,wife worked at Finley hospital. We used to go up the wisc.side of the river in the fall to Gays Mills and down the Iowa side, used to stop at a supper club north of Dubuque on a big hill, can't remember the name. Seems like there was a big church steeple to the west you could see for miles. Dubuque's nice town, we always liked it

been threatning all day - but hasn't happened yet. At least it cooled off a little but with the high humidty is really sticky. 40% chance yet tonight - we'll see what happens. (NW MO).

Rained 3 times here and I got 6 inches. Yep, I counted 3 drops on the sidewalk and they were 6 inches apart.

108 here today and we got no rain...Had 1.25" in past 45 days..Corn harvest is well under way..This 100 miles south of KC,MO..

big rain today in Hanover, PA. I am 40 miles east and got about 1 drop. Of course, I decided NOT to mow hay, so we have been dry last 4-5 days, with t-storms hitting all around. Go figure.

Was the place you ate at Breitbach Tavern in Balltown??? They have very good food. As for the church steeple there are many in Dubuque County that are large old churches. Many of them have very tall steeples.

About .1 of an inch here in central WI, earlier in the day they were talking 1 to 2 inch rain, yep, weather guy blew it again...
