Eastern Iowa storm

We just got pounded with lightning, high winds and rain. The power is out and generator running. It is too late for the corn, but great anyway.

I was pleasantly surprised and picked about 3 dozen ears of sweet corn this morning before the storm. It was planted late and should produce something with this rain.

I had 3/4" from the storm, knocked a big part of an old apple tree down. lots of wind for a bit

I painted the small parts off my MH44 this morning in my lean too. The wind blew them all down in the mud. They were dry, so no damage.

Looks like it is headed at us here in NW Indiana.

This morning around 5:30AM I got woke up by the thunder and lightning but all we got as for rain was maybe a 1/4 inch. Not enough to even notice that it had rains. Hot and dry and the blister beetles are back so will be spraying siven later today to get rid of them again
