Blackhawk tractor

Black Hawk Cultivator made planters and such. Then in the early 1950's Cockshutt bought them out. Starting in 1956-1957 Cockshutt rebadged their Cockshutt 20,40,50 and brought out the 35 with the name Black Hawk on the hood for sale in the states, Deluxe was on the hood in Canada. In early '57 they dropped the Black Hawk name and went with Deluxe. It was a styling/marketing thing.

so, to answer your question Cockshutt.

Seeing the cast rear wheels on this tractor made me think they look identical (or nearly identical) to the cast ones on the Massey 44 Special I had. I wonder how many parts used to be shared.

They were made in the same industrial area, a set of railroad tracks separated Massey from Cockshutt. The wheels are slightly different.
