Should be pretty obvious if you think about it. You would quickly have the trailer wrapped around the mower.

I can think of 2 good reasons. First, the center of gravity would make you go over if you placed any weight on the back end. Plus the fact that they turn shorter than a tongue of a wagon would put the nose of it over the rear wheels of the mower.

As others have said, you can out turn the towed implement. I used to pull a wing mower, with an older gravely mower, but it was built so flimsy, it wasn't the hitch that was the problem. The gravely kept snapping Hyd motor shafts. My new Dixie Chopper is rated to pull a ton, but moves so fast, I don't need the wing mower, and have never hooked it up! I guess most manufacturers figure that the liability outweighs the benefit, because if you give a dumbarse a chance to harm himself, he will!

Thanks all. Things to consider before i frabricate a bracket. In the mean time its the tractor with loader.

Some do and some don't. Those that don't are typically those with hydrostats that are not up to towing.

Light duty hydros will overheat and fail if overloaded. Went thru 3 on an older machine before I wised up.
