"Testing" my skills at dozing the other day. It's been a few years. I've been running the chopper the last 10 or 12 years.

No walls. Most smaller farms don't have bunkers, they just have open sides. Increases the "pucker" factor if you don't have the pile packed tight. :lol:

I don't know. I seem to get plenty of "pucker" when I get about ten feet above the walls like my cousin and a friend have to have it. Awhile back my cousin had a hired hand roll right off and the tractor landed beside the wall on the ROPS and loader. They pulled it upright, bent the pipe back and put him right back up there.
 
This is picture of my Oliver 66 Diesel taken in 1950 It pulled the chopper pulled the load to the trench and packed it.eas slow but silage feom tis trench beat the Big Blue Monsters.Good forage chopped fine and packed well. gitrib

A friend used to sell those "Blue Monsters" for awhile after he sold his cattle, but he could see the writing on the wall and built a hotel.
 
We used to put it up with the super h or 460 hauling with stan hoist wagons, 560 with a f-11 farmhand with a dozer plate packing. I still have those tractors and wagons. Shoot...I still have the side boards and endgates for both silage and corn.
