Stihl 024 vs Stihl 029?

I own an 024 and it's at the shop getting repairs so it starts and runs well. I had a tree fall on my boat dock Saturday so running a chain saw for a while is mandatory. I saw a nice looking used 029 at the shop and wondered how much more or better that would be. Thanks for whatever advice you all may have.

About 16cc bigger and just as good. Fine saw. Jim

I guess I am the man to answer,,About three years ago I got a 29 for general light clean up work, my wife wanted one (we maintain tow residences) just a tad smaller so got here a 24. Both are ver good clean up saws but there is a litle mo upm in the 29 . Everybody has talked about the e gas and problems but have not had any problems with either saw.

can't go wrong on good o29. Used mine a lot tonite on big limb that fell off hard maple in the back yard. Life would definitely be harder w/o it.
