I posted that we butchered all the meat birds yesterday. It sure brought in the activity last night! Time to move the camera now that the big stinkers are gone and keep a close watch on my layers. We have a large fox population which is surprising with all the cotoye howling I hear every night.

No the opossums are not all that fast but when you have to go 70 feet to grab a gun and it saw you it is hard to get back before it ducks in or under something

I"m "kornfused".....are they grey or red foxes?
The one on the left looks like a grey but the one on the right could pass for a red.

Look like grey foxes to me. Red foxes are red with no grey. At one time we had foxes come in the back yard under flood lights and eat scraps. We quit putting scraps out, but it was funny watching a fox try to eat spaghetti.

The coyotes I have seen here are about the size of a large German shephard and have various colors, sometimes sort of mottled, but mostly shades of gray. I'm thinking they have mixed with dogs.
