Tried a new recipe today canning

Well I tried to make Black berry jam today but not sure yet if it is going to be Jam or maybe black berry syrup. Just pulled the hot jars out about 10 minutes ago. Either way I know the wife already likes it since so got to sample what I had left over on bread

Well you would have to drive awful fast with this heat or the ice cream would melt. LOL

Did you use pectin? If youdid, just let it cool and do not disturb it. It will set up once it has time to cool and settle.

Recipe called for 2 things Black berries and sugar nothing more other then heat

If no pectin, it'll be syrup. But I prefer blackberry syrup to jam, anyhow.

Tried some blackberry freezer jam earlier this year that I saw in a recipe book. Didn't expect it to work, and it didn't, but is excellent topping on ice cream or pancakes.
