John Deere B block

I have a 52 JD B, and I was wondering if I could put a block from another tractor like a G or 530 in it. I would like to modify it to pull and still keep the original motor able to be put back in. Thanks Any other tips on getting the most power I can, I run 4500-5500 pound division.

The late B has a very low first gear so even a slightly bored .125 will almost never power out. Add a little compression and you are very competitve. Mine is bored .125 and 8to1 compression, put in decompression valves in bottom of block and the 6 volt starter will start it. Uses regular pump gas. Does parades no problem and will pull 3500 to 6500. Almost always place.
