north central Ohio. got about 2 inches today at 3:30, temp went from mid 90's to mid 60's in about an hour.might get more tonight.

Lucky dog. It rain north, south, east of me (within a mile). Not a fregg'n drop in my little part of Huron county. Looking at the blob that formed east of me just about made me sick. Crossing fingers that little storm coming out of Chicago will get here.

Went out and checked on a hay field and it hasn't put on but maybe 2" since last cutting 2 1/2 months ago (lot of brown). Weeds are 3' tall. Just amazes me how those things thrive in the most poor g0d offal conditions........

I"m in a very good area, having timely rains, and feel so bad for all of the others....drouth like we had in "88. Interesting miss-spelling of God awful, since "offal" is the correct spelling of stomach and intestine contents of mammals, headed to the poop chute. And that is what you are getting, Shat on, big time. Yeah, weeds are a B, college soil science course taught that weeds use 4 times the water than typical plants do, to make a pound of dry matter. Very inefficient, but they thrive under the worst of conditions.
