We've had rain

It is certainly not my intention to rub in the face of those of you who are dying for lack of water (we went through that last year), but I'm just saying that here in NW Louisiana we've been blessed with timely, soaking, beneficial rains. Got two half-inchers last week. To ilustrate the point, even our fenceposts are sprouting! Also, a shot of a nice bahaia (sp.) field. Both of these are close to my place.

I don't mind. When it's this dry over such a wide area I'm glad when anybody gets some.

See now all you have to do is set up a few big fans and blow some of that stuff up to the north west of you

It sure does look beautiful. There is nothing like looking at green fields and yards. We hope to see those again in about 8 months or so here in KS. They were just talking on the nightly news about the rise in depression here. I see why. You don't pass a farmer that is holding their head up.
