The wifey and her sister did it again Thursday. Guess who had to clean them. O well they will be good eating this winter. We have 23 of them frozen now, plus what we have eaten fresh. It works for me.

very nice! I hope my daughter goes shopping in mom and dads freezer this winter,we froze some vegetables already and hope to do more ,

How do you freeze them to keep them from becomming rubber when defrosted? I have tried putting them in water and freezing them in a block of ice but the results are always the same. Nothing like fresh out of the water and into a pan.

We don't do anything special. I have a skinner, and the fish are frozen without skins and scales. We now vacum, pack them, rather than wrapping them in freezer paper, like my dad did years back. We usually cook them wrapped in foil with our favorite seasonings on the grill or in the oven. When fully cooked, you can pull the backbone rite out and yum,yum
