John deere 650H dozer... where to find sweeps!

I've been looking all morning online for sweeps, don't want to pay all those deere bucks, so I was looking for a Deere yard or somewhere that has them less than $1500. I took a big tree limb to the exhaust pipe last night. (no ho mo se x u a l jokes, thank you...)

It got all bent out of shape.(again, no g a y whacking) I am just looking to put a set of sweeps on the young lady and keep her exhaust in shape for teh big dance (go ahead, make a joke about her exhaust being in shape)

If anyone knows where I should start looking, could you clue me in? I don't want her tailpipe getting all wrecked again (please refrain from the jokes about a young ladies exhaust getting wrecked by a big one)

Hope you have a good day!

IMHO being that is a H sires i doubt that you will find one with limb risers in a bone yard yet. and if Mother Deere only wants 1500 for new that is cheep at half the price , just wipe out the pipe turbo and crack the manifold and see where your at . Or have a big limb come off the blade and take your head off. The last thing i want to do with a dozer WITH OUT limb risers and brush guards is go playing in the trees.

machinerytrader.com has a search for machines that are being parted out:

Looks like there are a couple of them that have limb risers (one in Michigan and one in Indiana).

I'll echo what the tractor vet said. Don't go pushing trees around without them. Not for the sake of your exhaust, for the sake of your head! Even when you think you're being safe and careful, the next thing you know, WHAM! a branch is 2ft from your face and the limb risers are ringing like a bell. I know if I didn't have them I would have been dead four times over just from the little bit of clearing that I've done on my farm over the past few years.

You really need the sweeps, getting wiped off your dozer is a good way to
get dead, that and those thing can go quite a distance and cause some
unusual damage to people and property if left running in gear with out an
operator. When I lived in Oklahoma a guy bailed off his dozer, it finally
ran out fuel about 30 miles away, let a bunch of cattle out along the way
and narrowly missed two houses. Being dead would suck, all you estate
going to pay for the damage your wandering pilot-less bulldozer did would
really suck.
