The first drop of rain since June 20 hit the ground at my place in SE MN this morning. We only got 2/10", but it's nice to know water can still fall from the sky.
If I would have know that cutting my sudangrass field was all it took, I would have cut it down weeks ago. It was dry enough to make balage out of it last night, but I decided to leave it out there as a sacrificial lamb
Anyway, it looks like a good line of storms is moving its way across the Midwest this morning. Hopefully it doesn't all dry up before it crosses the Mississippi, but the way things are going, it probably will. It's bad here, but I know it's a heck of a lot worse South and East of here.
