Will TODAY is our 42 Wedding Anniversary ...

The Doc. said we wouldn't see our 25th ., when my wife had a stroke 28 years ago ..

The tractor is hers { Case S , one of 574 built that year } she lets me drive it ..lol

Just wanted to share ..

We were married in "70 as well...
Congrats on your accomplishment, especially in the face of adversary. Takes a lot of love commitment and work to make it last. You have done well.
 
Got you by three. Wife and I will have our 45th in October. Congratulations. PS Was grandpa again last night when daughter in law had TWIN girls.
 
Congrats also. Great looking ladies you have there. We share some of the same things also. Married 45 yrs in august, wife shares interest in tractors and i had a stroke this past sept. Good to see your wife out and about.
 
We'll have #48 in December. Just finished a week with two granddaughters, age 8&9. I haven't been this tired in years!!

Congratulations! There are a few things the medical profession doesn't take into consideration under circumstances such as you mentioned. That's grit and determination, and the LOVE that makes a partnership work.

I am certianly glad you chose the subject line you did with that picture rather than...Whats it worth? Or whats the trade in value? Otherwise she would have seen more years but perhaps.... you? (not so much) lol

Weather you know it or not, what the doctor told you made a better person out of you. You never got in the rut of taking anything, rather you (gave to another) a wonderful life as best you could. PRICELESS

You know something else? I remember a couple of years ago, you were off of work like many, but you got yourself lined up with something new, but something different than you were used to. How is that these days?

CONGRATULATIONS --- My wife and I were married in 1965 ( can"t count that far back) She has taught me a lot !!! We have 4 children -9 grand kids and 3 greats --- I have not figured out how all that works -- but we have a time together!!!!
 
Congratulations. Just go to show that doctors aren't as good at predicting as they think they. Lovely wife and good looking tractor. Wish you many more happy years together.
 
Hi Mark, Sometimes your doctor is wrong. Keep on counting. You should put a new coat of paint on her tractor after soda blasting it. We will soon be married 59 years. We got married when I was in the Army. Should have married her before I was drafted, but the Korean war was on and didn't know if I would end up there. Hal

I had a case SI nice tractor lots of power for its size. Been married 37 years wife is 87 now doing pretty good but has slowed down a lot.
