I Finally Did It!

I made it rain! The storms coming out of Pennsyltucky bypassed us all weekend and yesterday. And it's now down in Virginie and the Carolinas. But I laid down 15 acres of hay today and finally got it to rain when it wasn't supposed to!!! It ain't much, but it's beautiful!!!

I'm glad someone finally found a solution! I have washed all my vehicles several times the past three weeks, left all the windows rolled down, left laundry on the line outside all night, and the only results I got was spiders in everything!

Dang,I just had the top off of a transmission on a tractor. Maybe I should have pulled that outside of the shop and let it set. I wasn't thinking.
I'm afraid all that would have happened though,is that it would have blown full of dust.

I had 118 bu of corn in the wagon outside, uncovered for two weeks and it never rained. I finally set up a drip irrigation system in the garden and wouldn't you know it here comes the rain clouds. I ran in the house and checked the radar and it looked small but coming right at us. Darn cloud missed us by a mile and a half. Things are starting to get pretty dry here in central Iowa.

Dam- meebe it weren't me-SWMBO left wash on the line last night and it's still there. Yeah- it's my underwear and shirts----

congratulations. I mowed 4 acres this morning. I mean, what the heck? The t-storms miss us for days, now the radar shows rain hanging right over southern York County. Unbelievable.

Weren't much- .05"- but it beat the heat. See you at Olde Tyme Dayes in Fawn Grove this weekend--
