Garden Pics

As dry as it has been, this is by far the best my garden has been. Usually flooded out and overgrown by weeds, but with the help of the fiance and her 2 Grandkids. it is looking good.

Everything looks great.

Is that aspargus in the raised bed? If yes, do you live where it freezes hard? Just wondering if it over-winters all right.

NICE garden!

What do you have growing between the fruit trees and the squash in pic #9?

That would be the 1000 asparagus roots we planted this year. Thinking of putting in another 500 next spring if I get ambitious.

It is. first year plants, so do not know how it will do next year. Up here in south dakota, the fronst goes down about 3' or slightly more. So will see if there is any damage come next spring.

I like what you have done, but the extension ag guy told me not to put anything around my little trees...not even mulch, it puts the heart of the tree underground. Something about burying a critical part of the tree...
Just my 2 cents....

Wow Nice Looking Dirt!!! If you need a few thousand billion rocks just let me know....

I forgot what good dirt looks like. How come yours isnt orangish red with a bunch of rocks in it like mine does?

Great looking garden! I sure do love the color of that soil. I have about a half acre garden spot and it has three different colors soil, and a good supply of rocks in one corner
