I see some You folks up North are finally coming down. Had 105 in Central, IN today. 80;s are coming in the next few days. Not been this warm since the great dustbowl era. Twice my age!

Was 101 this afternoon in Iowa, then dropped 10 degrees in an hour.

Mid 80s here today, down to 70 now. I can live with this so can the animals. I even turned the fans off in the barn.jim

Supposed to be 108 here in Southern Virginia. I have never in my 70 years seen temperatures like this in eastern US... only out west when the humidity was 5%. But with the high humidity we have here, these temps are a killer, not only to crops and animals, but to people too.
Now what was all this talk about climate change?

Was only about 85 here yesterday, almost lookin for a long sleeve shirt and woke up to 66 this morning, bbrrrrrrr!!!! One thing about the heat, the ol artritus goes away!! Have a good Sunday!

I'm very happy to see it cool down too. The bad part is the damage already done from heat and lack of rain. Still no rain in the immediate future in N.E. Iowa.

Bet we don't see many "Bin Buster" corn crops.
