I can hear thunder and see lightning, but no rain. The radar is not encouraging. I guess I need to roll down the windows in all of the vehicles and put some bags of feed in the back of my truck to try and prime the clouds.

Well don't hog all the rain let some cross I35 into eastern Iowa.

Another week like this one and I won't need to buy any fuel for the combine.

the robins have been chirping for rain for a couple days. they are usually more reliable than the weather guessers, within 24 hours, but so far they haven't made it rain either.

That looks like snow? at 33F. Are you like New Mexico? Some water cop from Texas write you a citation for having an unregistered puddle? I wonder if the smoke attracted this weather, like they said about gunsmoke from Napoleonic and WW1 battles? I hope it don't evaporate before it soaks. Good luck, hope it continues for ya.

It's not rain. It the collective sweat we've all been wiping from our brow. The wind must have took it. 98 degrees tomorrow. It was above 120F in the combine cab today doing wheat. How do I know? The thermometer only goes to 120F.
