9:03 EST. Power out for about 1 hour, 40 minutes. Thunderstorms, got 1/2 inch rain. Still a few drops falling, thunder in area.

I've found out how to get rain, wife and I were TALKING about watering some garden plants,LOL.

For a lot of West Virginia the power went off from a storm Friday. Some back on but a lot are not. Daughters and in laws not expected to be on until Sunday. Some not until next week. Another storm went through today and knocked some back off. Lucky ours has stayed on, its knocked off all around me.

I would welcome thunder storms and power being out. It is so dry here that I am going to have to do something I have never done before. I am going to use some 7 dust on my garden due to the black strip beetles eating every thing I have. I have NEVER had this problem in the 32 years I have had garden here but this year they are eating every thing I have one plant at a time. So dry here they have nothing but my garden to eat

I'm just north of Ionia, MI. Wind storm this morning ripped everything up.
I've still got power, but the folks up in Carson City/Crystal area do not.
No rain here. Sister came down from Crystal to borrow my generator, said they got "a little".
A good soaking rain would be nice!
